NLR’s MUST facility is a research simulator that is intentionally kept generic and reconfigurable, so it can be deployed in a wide range of research areas. The facility comprises the simulation of aerial vehicles and their payloads, the environment (wind, other entities, etc), the datalink ánd the ground control station (GCS).

In this project I was tasked to create a HMI together with a colleague based on an existing HMI. A new HMI was needed to be able to experiment with multiple scenarios and to be easily configurable.
The HMI needed to work with input from the Flight Controls, and required communication with the Mission Module, the heart of the system.
